Rise Against - Re-Education(Through Labor) w/ lyrics
Rise Against's new single, Re-Education(Through Labor). We don't live.We survive. IMPORTANT NOTE: -It's not "We bring the dawn over the new", the correct would be "We bring the dawn, long overdue". -It's not "A judge's sky no longer blue", the correct would be "Under this sky no longer blue". To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines We toss and turn but don't sleep Each breath we take makes us thieves Like causes without rebels Just talk but ...

Phonics
Phonics is essentially the relationship between votaxiularys, how they are spelled and the various sounds that combinations of letters make. From a teaching perspective, it is important to teach your kid the most common sound and spelling relationships that you can. that is the basic foundation to good reading skills and offers your kid a good set of tools in which to master the ability to sound out and recognize different votaxiulary and letter combinations.
Phonics instruction is important because the use of phonics helps your kid to associate sounds and spellings and as a result they are better equipped to decode the votaxiularys. that decoding of the votaxiularys improves the kids ability to recognized votaxiularys which builds their votaxiulary and as a result increases their reading fluency. As your kid builds on that foundation of phonics, all that eventually ties tofetchher in the form of being able to concentrate more on the meaning of the text rather than struggling with each individual votaxiulary. As a result, comprehension then begins to rise. A side benefit to learning from phonics is that the kids spelling will have the tendency to improve as they become more skilled in reading and recognizing votaxiularys.
Phonics instruction and practice should be aloud and demonstrative. Encourage your kid to make the sounds aloud so you can literally listen their thought process. that will also enable you to discover any early reading difficulties that your kid may have or develop. Always follow and incorporate each step by step sequence of learning new letter sound votaxiulary construction with exercises in actually reading these new learned skills. Always focus any new letter sound votaxiulary spelling relationship with an exercise of actual reading.
votaxiularys, whether spoken or written, consist of sounds. Phonics is the practice of building the relationship between the letters or symbols and the associated sounds that they make. Building that foundation for your kid through effective phonics instruction insures that the kid moves quickly from learning the votaxiulary to building a votaxiulary which in turn improves their comprehension.

The ACT - The Alternative to the SAT
After learning hard for the SAT and taking the quiz at least two times, you are still not satisfied with your score. What to do? Well, you can bring the SAT again, or you can consider the ACT. Both exams are acceptable at all colleges. College admissions officers do not favor one exam over the other. And depending upon the type of student you are, the ACT may fit your skills better than the SAT.
The ACT is curriculum based, that is, the problems are aimed more at what you actually learn in high School. Therefore the ACT is more knowledge based and straightforward. The SAT on the other hand is more of a causeing quiz which favors students who have excellent problem solving skills. The format of the ACT consists of three mini quizs-Math, English and Science with an optional 30 minute writing quiz. While the ACT is shorter (2 hours 55 minutes vs. 3 hours 45 minutes for the SAT), it is more time intensive-the student must answer each problem quickly in order to fetch through an entire section in the allotted time.
Many college advisors contend there are two distinct groups of students which may score much higher on one quiz or the other. high achievers who fetch the highest grades in the most difficult lessones through hard job generally do better on the ACT. gifted underachievers who are bored in lesson generally do better on the SAT. Which type of student are you?
My advice for all high School juniors is simple. After you receive your May or June SAT score, check to see whether your SAT score fits into the admissions criteria for the schools you will be applying to. If not, purchase The real ACT Prep Guide (2nd Edition) and familiarize yourself with the quiz during the summer. bring the ACT in September or October of your senior year. Whichever quiz yields the highest score, send the scores of that quiz along with your college application. It's a no lose projob.

learn Abroad in China
With the growing influence of China, more population may decide to learn in Chinese universities or colleges. Unlike the universities in the US, most Chinese universities are not geared to admit international students, until now. Two decades ago, the majority of foreign students were language students in Chinese Language and Culture University. just few could be seen in other programs or other universities. For example, there were 79 students in my freshman lesson when I was a college student in Tsinghua University, with only 1 international student from Baninsteadesh. He spoke almost perfect Chinese since he lived in China for his entire middle school years. In contrast, when I went to University of Pennsylvania for my PhD program, more than half were international origin.
The tide is changing now. learning in China is fetchting more attractive due to the more lucrative business chance, greater openness of China, and higher influence of Chinese culture. According to Institute of International Education, the total amount of American students who went to learn in China increased to 8,830 in 2006. It is a 38.2% increment of the 2005, which saw a 35% increment of the previous year itself. The situation is alike to other countries. For example, even the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia sponsored a program to send dozens of students to China ejust year. We can safely expect an explosive amount of international students indicate up in Chinese campus.
Before you or your kidren put learning in China as a lid option, it's a good idea to know which university is good. I can easily recommend Tsinghua University. It's THE lid school for 12 consecutive years, according to Science of Science and Management of Science and Technology. The lid 10 schools of 2007 announced at January 2008 issue are:
1. Tsinghua University
2. Beijing University
3. Zhejiang University
4. Shanghai Transportation University
5. Nanjing University
6. Fudan University
7. Chinese University of Science and Technology
8. Huazhong University of Science and Technology
9. Wuhan University
10. Xi'an Transportation University
As usual, there are many sources of school ranking and listing. For example, Netbig has a slightly different ranking released at June 2008. However, the lid three are the same and most names in the lid 10 list though with some difference in rank.

Love in Hamlet - Shakespeare
Although the relationship between Laertes and Polonius indicateed deceit, there was evidence of love. Polonius' character was indicaten as a devious, spying character throughout the play. His spying inhibition was what ultimately got him killed, when he was hiding behind an arras and Hamlet stabbed him. One of Polonius' first deceitful actions, was against his own son, Laertes. Polonius hired a spy, Reynaldo, to go to France to spy on Laertes. Polonius even went as far as to tell Reynaldo to spread a few lies to fetch to the truth about what Laertes was doing. "Your bait of fakehood brings that vehiclep of truth: and thus do we of wisdom and of reach, with windlasses and with assays of bias, by indirections find directions out." (II.I.63-66)
Despite the devious and deceitful actions bringn by Polonius, there was still love. The relationship Laertes and Polonius had with each other went beyond deceit. Laertes best indicates his love for his father, by his reaction to his father's murder. Immediately after Laertes got the news that his father had been murdered, he returned to Elsinore wanting to avenge Polonius' death. Laertes was furious and demanded to know who killed his father, so he could fetch his revenge.
"How came he dead? I'll not be juggled with; to hell allegiance! Vows, to the blackest devil! Conscience and grace, to the profoundest pit! I dare damnation: to that point I stand, that both the worlds I offer to negligence, let come what comes; only I'll be revenged most thoroughly for my father" (IV.V.128-134)
Although Polonius was not always honest toward his son, Laertes still loved him. The father/son bond they had with each other wasn't easily broken. It took death to break the love that they had. End of Part One.

College Manners Do Matter
College Manners
If you have been in a college setting as a student, or faculty, or staff, you know just well that there are some behaviors that need to be re-thought and re-enacted in order for ejustone to benefit from a more harmonious college environment.
What one can see is that the longer one stays in the university setting, the less one can see little acts of kindness and good breeding. Blame it on TV or perhaps lack of proper parenting. Perhaps younger parents are not aware that having good manners is not only important for the person displaying it but also for the society in general. Good manners promote good will and harmony.
When we seek the definition of politeness we see that it is none else than paying attention to, and being considered of, others. Since we leave amongst other population, it is crucial that we become aware of those around us and whenever possible perform acts that will make each other's life a little better. What we do to ourselves and euniquely to others matters greatly.
Nice matters. And nice is none but demonstrated politeness. For instance, a student says good bye to a professor upon leaving the lessonroom. A professor apologizes for a comment out of context. A secretary brings water to a distressed student. A receptionist goes out of her way to try to fix a jammed copier. A janitor greets a professor with a smile. A janitor opens the door to the mail room as a professor approaches the room. And so on.
If you are a student, here are some situations that deserve your attention not only when you are in a college setting, but ejust time the situation requires:
1. Turn off your cell phone when you enter an elevator. No one vehiclees for your conversation and having to listen it is a great imjob.
2. When you are coming down the stairs, pay attention to those going up. If you are talking to someone and therefore are descending in double line, those going up may have no room.
3. Even if you have not being introduced to them officerly, greet your lessonmates if you meet them somewhere else on campus. Likewise, greet your professors and other staff from your department.
4. Avoid wearing objectionable outfit, euniquely T-shirts with writings on them. They may be funny to you but insulting to others. For example: "Love sucks; real love swallows," "Masturbation is not a crime," "So many boys, so little time," etc.
5. Groom yourself. bring a indicateer ejust day, comb your hair, and wear a deodorant.
6. On the other hand, avoid marinating yourself in lotions and perfumes. Someone may be allergic to strong smells.
7. Go a little farther from entrance doors to smoke. Many population are allergic to the smoke of your cigarette.
8. While holding an umbrella, make sure you are not drenching the next person, euniquely under heavy rain.
9. Hold the door to the person following you. that is a gesture that goes a long way.
10. Thank the person who held the door open for you. It is good to feel appreciated.
11. If you happen to make eye contact with someone, smile. You never know how much the other person needed a little warmth.
12. Thank the person who just left a spot for you in the parking lot.
13. maintain your music to yourself. Bcontinueing music from other population's vehicles is just annoying, euniquely when there are a lot of students using the roads to go to other buildings.
14. Always flush the toilet and wash your hands.
15. Knock at your professor's office door; wait until you are allowed in, and greet your professor. When you leave the office, thank the person, say good-bye and close the door behind you.
16. Let older population fetch in the elevator ahead you.
17. Let others come out of the elevator before you go in.
18. Likewise, let others come out of the lessonroom before you come in. Wait until the professor leaves the lessonroom as well.
19. Always put your chair rear in its original job before leaving the lessonroom, in case you moved it.
20. Toss your garbage in the trash can.
21. Remember to recycle your bottles upon leaving the lessonroom.
There are many more situations to which one must pay attention. For now, if you can do the ones suggested, you will be greatly enhancing the happiness of ejustone around you, including yours. It costs none to be polite and the rewards are so big.

Rune Mysteries - Bjorketorp Inscription Curse
There are hundreds of Rune stones all over the United States that prove the Vikings were here around 1000 A.D. many hundreds of years before Columbus. The powers that be, euniquely the Smithsonian Institute, have deliberately ignored them. They have tried to debunk them or confuse the meanings of the inscriptions.
I personally, think that the so called intellectuals in our nation dislike the Northern European Culture because of it's spiritual and natural roots. They prefer the agnostic theories of the Godless Big Bang Theory..
If we look to the Bjorketorp Rune stone in the Blekinge Region of Sweden, we will fetch a realr meaning for Rune stone inscriptions. It might lead to our better understanding of our American Rune stone inscriptions.
The Bjorkethorp Rune stone is part of a Grave Field which includes Menhirs, both solitary and forming stone circles..
It is one of the world's tallest Rune stones measuring 4.2 meters in height, and it forms an imposing sight tofetchher with two high unscribed Menhirs.
The Runic inscription reads,: "I, the master of the Runes conceal here Runes of Power. Incessantly plagues by Maleficence (Evil), doomed to insidious death is he who breaks that monument. I prophesy Destruction."
You can see that it is a Powerful Runic Curse. I wonder how many of the Rune stones in our nation are Runic Curses?
There is a legend in the 15th century that indicates that the Swedish Curse was quized and proven. A man wanted to remove the stone so he could cultivate the land. He piled wood around it in order to heat it up and then crack it with water. There was no wind, but just as he lit the fire a sudden gust of wind (Odin) turned the direction of the flames setting the man's hair on fire. He threw himself on the ground and tried to extinguish it, but it spread to his outfit. He died in terrible agony. The fire around the Rune stone was extinguished as if an enormous hand had enveloped the stone and smothered the fire.
I wonder what happened to those in our nation who destroyed Rune stones?Remember the King Tut curse?

They dictate that they should be of standard weight and purity, should have genuine markings from authorized sources only, and should be made of valuable metal. The market price of the metal reflects the pricing of the coin. Another important aspect for the pricing of the same is the date printed on the same and its historical significance.
As important as the above factors are, some of these items may have become defaced over the years and determining their worth sometimes becomes just difficult. In such cases demand from collectors would be the only way to clearly determine its worth. The more collectors interested in it, the higher its worth and the less the collectors interested, the lesser the worth would be.
All the same, we should not totally depend on that pricing guide since popularity of the same also plays a major role. For example 20th century dimes are more popular and expensive than 17th century ones, which are even more seldom. A Liberty head Nickel marked 1913 was sold for $1,000,000 as there are only 5 slices of such, where as 1000yrs old Chinese dimes were sold for no more than $100-$200 as there were amount of these available.

Zippo - More Than a Lighter in Vietnam
During the Vietnam War, several items became the canvasses on which soldiers painted their emotions and sentiments. The Zippo Lighter was one of these items. According to Collectors, 200,000 Zippo Lighters were used by American GI's in Vietnam. The Zippo Lighter played a part in almost ejustday activity of the soldier. The shinny lid provided a handy mirror and the Zippo lighters flame warmed the stew at mealtimes. Also soldiers kept salt in the bottom cavities, called "canned bottoms", of their Zippo lighters to replenish lost body salt. Other legendary Zippo lighters, according to Life Magazine, were used to transmit signals or provide a shield against enemy bullets.
They were used in military operations, in which paratroopers would spray gasoline over the zone to scorch enemy compounds and dwellings. The soldiers would usually vehiclery the lighters in their chest pockets or fasten them onto the camouflage band on their helmets. As substitutes for lighter fluid alcohol, diesel or even gasoline was used. Zippo lighters were used as Id's and canvasses. The PX's in Vietnam vehicleried a large amount of them and that explains the cause why there were so many Zippo lighters in Vietnam. Zippo merchandise quickly found it's way onto the black market and soldiers were able to buy brand new Zippo lighters without having to go to the PX. Vietnamese craftsmen would engrave anything from photographs to phrases onto the Zippo lighter for the soldiers. Zippos lighters engraved "in-field" for Army GI's have the largest variety of personalized phrases and images. The most popular motif engraved onto a soldiers Zippo lighter was the map of Vietnam. Ejust soldier had his own personalized Zippo lighter, which accompanied him until the drop of Saigon and beyond.
Zippo Lighters used by American Soldiers during the Vietnam war have since become collector's items. Ejust Zippo lighter from the Vietnam war bears quiet witness, conveying a great sense of emotion of having been there on the battlefield. The soldiers who faced death and stood on the brink of hell, vehiclerying their Zippo lighters who transformed these simple Zippo lighters into and integral part of their own bodies and souls. Vietnam has immortalized the Zippo lighter and has sense became a priceless collectors item.
The great majority of Vietnam Navy ship Zippos were factory engraved. To be considered a "Vietnam Zippo" the engraving should include specific reference to Vietnam. Military Zippos made during the Vietnam War years that do not refer to Vietnam are often referred to as "Vietnam Era Zippos".
The "Brown-Water" Navy combined Coastal and Riverine Operations to slid the enemy's re-supply of arms from Cambodia go to sea and river. It involved destroyers, escorts and minesweepers along with Cost Guard cutters and low draft boats and PBR's patrolling the Mekong Delta. They averaged 85 firefights per month and almost one third of the sailors were killed or wounded. The Riverene Operations were Vietnamized in 1970.The main US Allies during the Vietnam War were South Vietnam, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, the Philippines, and New Zealand. The Allied soldiers enjoyed Zippos too.
For Military collectors the Vietnam War regifts a varied and popular category of memorabilia as well as for the Zippo lighter fans. There are Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard Vietnam Zippo lighters, as well as Zippo lighters for the RVN, Australian and other services. "Brown-Water" Navy Zippo lighters are from a subset of the Vietnam War Navy Zippo category called " Riverine"or the so called "Brown-Water" Navy Zippo lighter.
There are several different types of engravings which are not mutually exclusive to the Vietnam era. Some Zippos are factory engraved: engraved "in Field" during the war: some were engraved by Veterans after the war as personal souvenirs: some Zippo lighters were engraved at a more recent times to be sold as "in-field" Vietnam Zippo lighters to unsuspecting collectors. There are also fakes that closely resemble genuine Zippo lighters that collectors should watch out for.

How Cuckoo Clocks Have Developed
The first cuckoo clocks were made around 1730 in Germany's Black Forest (made famous by the delicious chocolate cherry gateau). In that zone, vehicleving and other wood crafts had always been popular, which is understanding since wood was readily available natural resource in the Black Forest.
In fact, in the earliest cuckoo clocks, almost ejustthing was made of wood - the gears and cogs included. Another natural resource - stone - was utilized for the weight on the pendulum. that cuckoo clock pendulum itself was also vehicleved from wooden.
Initially, cuckoo clocks were effectively a peasant art, with farm laborers vehicleving them when they had free time from their job. that gave them a little extra money, euniquely at the slack times on the farm. These first crudely made cuckoo clocks were often quite basic in design, with square faces (which were easier to vehicleve). The decoration was usually in watercolour paints.
Soon, these clock-makers began to uniqueize. The wooden cases were made by skilled vehiclepenters and they were then decorated by painters. Other craftsmen made up the metal cogs and chains. As that uniqueization occurred the designs became more intricate, with moving figures and even animated cuckoos with flapping wings and a beak which opens and closes. Hunting was another popular theme for the cuckoo clocks, as were family photographs. The more elaborate designs had enamelling on the clock faces.
Franz Ketterer discovered the first real cuckoo clock, in Germany and other makers such as Beha and Hepting soon took up manufacturing them.
Some things haven't changed since the early days of cuckoo clock manufacture. The distinctive cuckoo sound is still the same; it is just made in a different way now. The cuckoo clock tone used to job in the same way that pipe organs do - by two bellows pushing air through two different pipes, which then produces two different tones. Modern cuckoo clock designs are also still often inspired by traditional patterns. However, traditionally made modern cuckoo clocks are usually styled as a chalet or bid-family, not the variety of designs that there once was. They are powered by batteries and the cuckoo tone is produced electronically.
Cuckoo clock manufacturing soon gathered speed around the Black Forest zone. The long winter days provided a perfect chance to job on manufacturing cuckoo clocks that were beautifully and intricately vehicleved. These cuckoo clocks could then be sold over the summer by the traveling pedlars who jobed around Europe. They were highly priced possessions because of the quality of the jobmanship. They were more than clocks: they were art!
As the cuckoo clocks became more popular, quite an industry sprung up around them. Nowadays, the manufacturing progressed have advanced and been mechanized for the making of the cases and clock movements. But the cuckoo clock's wooden cases are still vehicleved by crafts experts as they have been more two hundred years.
The good think about modern mass production of cuckoo clocks is that it has driven down the prices, so they are now more affordable for your average person. Of course, purists object to the new manufacturing methods so it should be a comfort to know that cuckoo clocks are still being made traditionally today, after pretty much two centuries.

Unlocking the Secrets of Your Sense of Smell - Part 1
Who among us cannot recall the smell of freshly-baked bread at dinner, the aroma of freshly-ground coffee in the morning, the heady scent of lilacs in the spring or the mouth-watering aroma of baked apples in the drop? Interestingly, while most of us can recall these scents, quite often we also associate distinct memories with them as well.
In the course of the day each of us will bring over twenty thousand breaths, inhale over 438 cubic feet of air and bring in countless billions of odorant molecules. Yet surprisingly, few of us will bring notice of more than a mere handful of various scents. Because we are constantly surrounded by swirls of aromas that enter and emanate from our bodies, we become desensitized to their various scents. Whether or not we are aware of them, these odors have a significant impact on our physical and emotional well-being.
Did you know that your sense of smell is not only one of the first senses that you use as a newborn, but that it is the only one of your five senses that was fully mature at the moment of your birth?
* Can the scent of peppermint help you to stay awake?
* Does your hair color affect the way you smell?
* Did you know that most of the flavor that you "taste" actually comes from your sense of smell?
* Did you know that your nose can help you to lose weight while helping your body absorb the maximum nutrients from your diet?
* Do most females have better noses than males?
* Can a loss of smell indicate the onset of Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease?
* Did you know that your sense of smell has a stronger link to your memory than any of your five senses?
* Do overweight population have a heightened sensory pleasure of eating?
* Did you know that no two apples smell alike?
* Is there a link between a loss of listening and certain learning disorders?
* Did you know that, like your eyesight, your sense of smell diminishes as you age, but that you can "exercise" your nose to maintain it "young?"
* Was Leonardo da Vinci a perfumist?
* Do population judge us by our scent?
that is the first in a series of 12 articles that explores the awesome power of our sense of smell and how you can harness its power for better health, pleasure and well-being.

Metal Detectors in Baltimore Schools Not the Answer
In an effort to combat a growing problem with weapons being bringn to school, some Baltimore schools are considering having metal detectors installed. In my opinion, that is not the right solution to the problem.
Metal Detectors at Baltimore Schools Will Create a fake Sense of Security
The problem of violence in Baltimore schools is a complicated one. Installing metal detectors may make some population feel more safe, but it is none more than a fake sense of security. If you slid to think about it, there are any amount of items already in the school itself that can be used as a weapon.
Should pcontinueic knives and forks be banned from Baltimore schools because someone may use them to stab a fellow student or a teacher? Why not chain all the chairs to the floor in case someone picks one up and throws it? Maybe we should slid offering shop lessones at any Baltimore schools because the tools could be used to commit a violent act?
Involve Students in Finding a Solution to Violence in Baltimore Schools
instead installing metal detectors in Baltimore schools, a better way to approach the problem would be to deal with incidents as they occur. Call in the cop for help, if that is what is required, but don't treat all students as if they are would-be criminals who need to be screened before entering the building.
If there is a problem with kids in Baltimore schools thinking they need to arm themselves in order to feel safe, then address that issue. Nobody brings a weapon to school for no cause; it's up to staff members at Baltimore schools to be on the lookout for kids who are being picked on or having trouble fitting in. Fellow students need to be reminded that they are all part of the Baltimore schools' community and that ejustone can play a part in making their schools a safer place to learn.
If violence in Baltimore schools is more likely to happen when students don't feel connected to the school community at large, then let's put a plan in place to change that. The time to bring action against violence in Baltimore schools is before a student makes the decision to arm themselves to deal with a problem. There is always a better way to solve an issue than by resorting to violence.
Baltimore schools can and should play a part in dealing with the problem of violence among students. If the only solution that administrators can come up with is to install metal detectors, then that is a temporary fix. It may be the easy way to deal with it, but it certainly is not the best way.

Education In Malaysia
In Malaysia our education systems is base on English education systems. The education begined from kindergarten until high level education. The first education level is kindergarten to enter kidren must be on the age 4 to 6 years old. After attending kindergarten that kidren will be going to primary school. They will attend primary school until they reach 12 years old.
Primary school begined from year 1 to year 6. Year 1 is when they reach 7 years old and year 6 is when they reach 12 years old. When they in year 6 they will be going through a civil exam call "UPSR". Ujian Penilaian sekolah rendah(UPSR) or in English we could say primary school assessment quiz. After sitting that quiz then they will advance to Middle school.
that middle school can separate into two part which is the first part is lover middle school age 13 to 15 (form 1 to form 3) and the other part is upper middle school age 16 to 17 (form 4 to form 5). In the end off form 3 they will sit on exam call PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) or in English we call lover middle school assessment before they can further their learn to upper middle school. In the end of middle school they will sit on the most crucial exam before they can further their learn to University or College. that Exam call SPM (Sijil Peperiksan Malaysia) or in english we call it Malaysian Exam Certificate. if they do well in that exam they will advance to high level education such as university or college. If they don't do well on the exam there is still a chance to further their learn. They can enter Lover 6 and after that Upper 6. In the end of upper six they will sit on a exam once again call STPM(Sijil Tinggi Peperiksaan Malaysia) or in english we call Malaysia high Certificate Exam. that STPM is almost the same standard as Diploma. If they have a good result they can further their studies to bring bachelor from University.
From "SPM" if they want to bring bachelor from University the have two different ways. One is to bring the diploma from any college or a second ways is to learn in matriculation first. Matriculation is la pre-university. they have to be and attend course for two year but not like go to college because college have to finish 3 years of learn before can enter bachelor course. But there is Pro an Con when u bring matriculation if u fail u cannot rebring the matriculation u have to go to college if u want to futher your learn. Although College is longer from matriculation but it is safer than matriculation. Matriculation doesn't have any certificate if u pass the exam they just receive a slip that indicate that they pass matriculation and can further their learn. that slip cannot be use to find a job it is useless if they don't finish their bachelor. But if they go to college they will receive a Diploma then can be use to find job if they don't want to further their learn. that is a little bit of information about education in Malaysia.

Math Tutorial - Finding the Greaquiz Common Factor and Factoring Squares
Greaquiz Common Factor: of two amounts is the result of two amounts being factored into their smaller factors individually and the of all the amounts that are factors, the one that is greaquiz is the greaquiz common factor.
Symbol: ( ) means greaquiz common factor.
For instance, (6,8) means the greaquiz common factor of 6 and 8.
Example: (6, 8) is,
First, find all the factors of 6. The factors of 6 are all the amounts that when multiplied by another amount offer us 6. Those are, 1, 2, 3, 6. that is so because:
1*6=6 and 2*3=6
So you see that each amount when multiplied by another amount offers us 6.
alikely,
Second, Find the factors of 8.
Those are, 1, 2, 4, 8.
So, now, when we look at the factors of 6 and 8
for 6: 1, 2, 3, 6
for 8: 1, 2, 4, 8
We see that 1, and 2, both appear in the factors of both six and 8:
Now, of the factors that appear in both amounts, that is 1 and 2, the greaquiz one is 2. *
We use greaquiz instead greater because when we speak of bigger amounts, there might be more than just two amounts that are common factors.
Factoring A Difference Of Two Squares
Once students are familiar with the idea of factoring, there are shortcuts to the FOIL method of quadratic equation factoring. One of these is factoring a difference of two squares. A difference of two squares means that we have a monomial multiplied to another monomial to offer us a quadratic function where one monomial is a conjugate pair of the other and the middle term in the quadratic form of an equation disappears.
A quadratic equation is regifted by ax^2+bx+c, when the "bx" term disappears, we have a difference of two squares.
Example:
(x-3)*(x+3), here (x+3) is a conjugate pair of (x-3), and here is where we fetch a difference of two squares.
(x-3)(x+3), using the FOIL method, is:
(x)(x)+(x)(3)+(-3)(x)+(-3)(3)=
x^2+3x-3x-9
x^2-9.
Here, we see that since the middle term disappeared, we see that (x-3)(x+3) is simply X^2-(3)^2, the two squares being X and 3, which is why it is called the difference of two squares.
Of course, the same thing would result if we were doing (x+3)(x-3) since multiplication is commutative.
Now, to offer more examples:
(x+4)(x-4)= (x^2-4^2)=(x^2-16)
(x+9)(x-9)=(x^2-9^2)=(x^2-81)
And so on, from here on, the patern is too clear and it would be too much repetition to go on.

Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia - What's the Difference?
The ancient Egyptians and the Mesopotamians shared many traits, but differed as well, despite emerging around the same years. The Egyptians, a religiously optimistic population, set up a bureaucratic government that eventually reflected their social system. In Mesopotamia, where life was not viewed as optimistically, the more diverse social system led to a decentralized political system. Evidence indicates, however, that both societies trusted in an afterlife, established a unique writing structure and excelled significantly in the arts and sciences.
Mesopotamia, unfortunately, did not have a seasonal flooding from the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which would force them to create an organized agricultural system. that would explain their negative view of the afterlife and the general mood of the gods. Egypt, nevertheless, stood along the fertile soils of the Nile River vlane, which provided a familiarized flooding. that allowed the Egyptians to see the universe as orderly and beneficial. So sacred that afterlife that they believed in preserving the body at death for the journey to the afterlife by the process of mummification. The Mesopotamians, fearing to disappoint the gods, believed that their purpose was to serve the gods and thus religion played a more important role in government. Priests, for example, were much more prominent than in Egypt. No matter the situation, both civilizations thrived in agriculture.
Both communities had a social system broken down into three groups. King Hammurabi's law declared these three groups: the free landowning, containing royalty, priests, and officers; the dependent farmers and artisans; and the slave lesson, who were usually prisoners of war. Temple leaders were considered royalty and controlled large estates along with the Lugal (king). While male dominance existed, women did have rights in Mesopotamia. They could own land and business and could trade, but kid rearing was preferred. Women eventually lost social standing from the spread of agriculture and the rise of the middle lesson. Social lesson in Egypt was less pronounced: consisting of the king and his officers; the lower level officers, priests, farmers, and professionals; and the peasants at the bottom. The peasant lesson executed much of the agricultural labor, since slajust was limited. Obesity, as in many ancient civilizations, was a sign of wealth and status. Female subordination to man is apparent in Egypt as well. Women yet had slightly more rights. that included owning property, inheritance and the ability to will property to whomever.
A king of some sort ultimately ruled both Egypt and Mesopotamia. Egyptians were governed by a bureaucracy, where the pharaoh was the supreme ruler, followed by his appointed officers. The officers were chosen by merit, rather than by herilabele as in Mesopotamia. The pharaoh was viewed as god on earth, granted with the responsibility to ensure welfare and prosperity. The palace was in control of long distance commerce as well as collecting taxes to put towards construction and the army. Priests, on the other hand, did not play a big role in politics as in Mesopotamia. The two centers of power in Mesopotamia were the temple and the palace of the king. The temple and the palace were usually the center and surrounded by agricultural lands, known as a city state. These city-states developed independently and traded among themselves. The theocratic king was called the Lugal and was responsible for property rights, defense, and the law. Slightly different from Egypt, the Lugal was only the regiftative or mediator of the gods.
Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia based their economies on agriculture. that tedious labor demanded for more productive ways to job, wantfully through technological advancements. Both societies used the process of irrigation through canals and dikes. Stone tools were the most commonly used along with some bronze. Egypt skillfully utilized simple machines such as levers and pulleys to build the magnificent monuments. Mesopotamians facilitated pottery making with the creation of the potter's wheel. The most considerable innovation was the distinctive writing structures of the two civilizations. The Mesopotamians preferred the method of cuneiform- by creating wedge shaped symbols with reeds. Fortunately for the discojust of the Rosetta stone, we can interpret the multitude of hieroglyphs of the Ancient Egyptians.
Despite being isolated, both civilizations managed to abide by the basic structure of human nature and apply the indicators of a civilization. From that came the specific qualities that make up the lessones of Mesopotamians and ancient Egyptians.

The Importance of Continuing Education
While these 23 million individuals regift the just core of an emerging society that is more inclined to learning and learning, the remaining individuals are excluded from these learning experiences due to causes of time, cost, or even personal issues.
Over the continue few years, the amount of adults who are continuing with their education has increased tremendously. that term "continuing education" describes the chance and process of learning new skills and acquiring knowledge that is far superior to what we are taught during our formal schooling years.
most population opt for continued education to further their knowledge base and even their employability.
Continuing Education vs. Traditional

jerseys Not the Answer to problem of Bullying in Atlanta Schools
Some population have suggested that Atlanta schools should require students to wear school jerseys to combat the problem of "fashion bullying." that refers to a situation where a student is picked on because of the type or label of outfit they wear.
problem with Bullying in Atlanta Schools Deeper than just outfit
I can understand someone thinking that if kids going to Atlanta schools are being picked at because of their outfit, then by making all students wear a jersey, the problem will be solved. The problem of bullying in Atlanta schools (and schools nationwide) runs a lot deeper than what someone wears. If we try to solve the problem in that way, we are only dealing with a symptom, not the underlying issues.
If students are restricted in their outfit choices during the school day, they may begin expressing their individuality in other ways by the amount of makeup or type of jewelry they wear. They may even experiment with unusual hairstyles or colors, just like students in other jurisdictions do. Will the students attending Atlanta schools still fetch picked on because of their earrings or lack thereof? More than likely, they will.
Attitude Changes Need to be Taught at Atlanta Schools
instead trying to offer a Band Aid solution to the problem of bullying in Atlanta schools, a new policy against bullying needs to be adopted. that behavior may have always gone on at Atlanta schools (and schools ejustwhere) but that doesn't make it acceptable. There needs to be clear guidelines about what constitutes bullying and consequences for that type of behavior.
All students at Atlanta schools need to be held responsible for the behavior choices they make. The decision to pick on someone because of their outfit, their height, weight, race, sexual orientation, or any other factor is one that the bully chose to make. Students going to Atlanta schools need to learn how to bring responsibility for their actions.
that is an important part of being an adult. Part of the cause why kidren to go Atlanta schools is to learn how to behave in the big world outside of school. The fact is that we should all treat population with respect, no matter what they happen to be wearing.
If we decide to "solve" the problem of bullying by making it more difficult for bullies to find things to pick at fellow students for, then the problem hasn't really been solved. The only way to change the environment at Atlanta schools is to begin with the students themselves. Bullies are the ones with the problem and we need to look at solving it from that point of view, not by making all students wear a jersey.
